The Faculty of Pharmacy at BAU and Nini Hospital Join Hands to Promote Breast Cancer Prevention.

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Beirut Arab University (BAU), in collaboration with Nini Hospital in Tripoli, organized a breast cancer awareness campaign on October 19, 2026, to promote prevention and early detection within the Lebanese community.

As part of this initiative, senior pharmacy students delivered educational health sessions and engaged directly with participants and hospital visitors, raising awareness about breast cancer risk factors, evidence-based screening recommendations for different age and risk groups, and the importance of healthy lifestyle practices in reducing risk.

The campaign was conducted under the academic supervision of Dr. Siba Jneid, Clinical Lecturer at BAU’s Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Elie Nehme, Chief Pharmacist at Nini Hospital.

Through this collaborative initiative, the Faculty continues to empower future pharmacists to promote public health, deliver evidence-based health education, and contribute to building a healthier community.
