Structure

The Faculty of Pharmacy advisory committee is comprised of a minimum of eight prominent members, including experts and key stakeholders, who help the Faculty to accomplish its mission and vision. The prominent members encompass one practicing physician, at least one representative of each of the pharmacy practice domains (Industry, Hospital, Community and Clinical), one representative of the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists, one alumni; and at least one member representing regularity authorities. The dean, in the presence of faculty, moderates the session.

Responsibilities

The committee, which meets once a year, is responsible for:

  • Providing key information/Feedback on the Pharmacy program performance and making recommendations in this regards.
  • Assist Faculty in providing external support essential to its development as leading Faculty in Pharmacy education.
  • Serve as advocates for the Faculty of Pharmacy with various community groups.
  • Assist graduates in finding job opportunities.
