Accreditation

BAU-MEHE Accreditation

The Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education MEHE recognizes all the degrees awarded by BAU: BA, BS, BBA (License), BA or BS (License d’Enseignement), Diploma, MA, MS, MBA (Diplômes d’Etudes Supérieures), and PhD Doctorat.


BAU-FIBA Accreditation

Beirut Arab University attained the International Institutional Accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) - an official international German foundation - registered in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR). The given accreditation demonstrates that the quality of the program or institution has been proven by an external entity and is based upon reliable, transparent and international criteria and procedures that give the University a competitive advantage in the educational market.


BAU-AHPGS Accreditation

The Faculty of Human Sciences attained the International Accreditation for the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Science (AHPGS).


BAU-FIBA Accreditation

The Faculty of Law and Political Science attained the International Accreditation for the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD Law Programs from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), which serves to maintain European Quality Assurance in higher education.

The Faculty of Business Administration attained International Accreditation for the Bachelor and MBA programs from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), which serves to maintain European Quality Assurance in higher education.


BAU-ACCA Accreditation

The Faculty of Business Administration attained the International Accreditation for its “BBA Accounting” Program from the “Association of Chartered Certified Accountants” (ACCA), which is the world's most forward-thinking professional accountancy body.


BAU-RIBA Accreditation

The Faculty of Architecture - Design and Built Environment attained unconditional validation (Part I and Part II) for the Architecture Program from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), which is a professional institution leading excellence in architecture and fostering high quality architectural education worldwide.


BAU-ABET Accreditation

The Communication and Electronics Engineering program in the Faculty of Engineering ( Debbieh and Tripoli Campuses) is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, which is the foremost authority for accrediting engineering programs in the United States of America and internationally.

BAU-CCAPP Accreditation

The Faculty of Pharmacy attained the International Accreditation for its program from the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), which is responsible for accrediting Canadian and International Pharmacy Programs.


BAU-WFME Accreditation

Six years of "Full Accreditation" status have been conferred to the Faculty of Medicine BAU.
The Faculty of Medicine BAU has satisfactorily met the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Standards following the inspection and evaluation by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Medical Education Programmes (TEPDAD).


BAU-ADEE Accreditation

The Faculty of Dentistry attained the International Recognition from the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) in April 2014 on the basis that the Faculty’s program is up to the standards of European faculties. The Faculty was awarded in 2016 ADEE LEADER status “THE DENTAL EDUCATION EXCELLENCE PROGRAMME” in recognition of its commitment to continuous improvement and curriculum development.


BAU-ADEE Accreditation

The postgraduate programmes of Endodontology: “Master's Degree and Speciality Diploma” at the Faculty of Dentistry are accredited from the European Society of Endodontology (ESE).


BAU-WCPT Accreditation

The Faculty of Health Sciences attained the International Accreditation for the Physical Therapy Program from the World Physiotherapy (WPT), which is the sole international voice for physical therapy.


BAU-AHPGS Accreditation

The Faculty of Health Sciences attained the International Accreditation from the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Science (AHPGS) for the Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Medical Laboratory Technology Programs for the Degree of “Bachelor of Science”.


BAU-AHPGS Accreditation

The Faculty of Health Sciences attained the International Accreditation from the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO)- United Kingdom- for the Clinics for Nutritional and Weight Management which are the first non-European collaborating Centre for Obesity Management (COM).
