On 26 September 2026, the first conference in Lebanon and the Middle East focusing on the use of robotic technology in thoracic surgery was held.

Professor Dr. Ayman Nasser, Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery, attended the conference as a representative of Beirut Arab University. The conference was also attended by specialists in the field, as well as residents enrolled in the Cardiothoracic Surgery program at the Faculty of Medicine, Beirut Arab University.

The conference provided an important opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments and applications of robotic technology in thoracic surgery.
