Makassed General Hospital

MGH is a 200 patient-bed facility located in a heavily populated area of Beirut. It consists of a six-floor building with additional buildings housing the private clinics, medical laboratory services, renal dialysis unit, and other specialized medical services. MGH is known for its hematology-oncology and BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) center in which the first successful bone marrow transplant in Lebanon was performed in 1997.

Makassed General Hospital offers a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medical services. It serves nearly 100,000 in-patients and in excess of 50,000 outpatient visits per year. The medical team consists of more than 200 attending physicians and 240 nurses.

Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia

DAI was established in 1952, and has an immense capacity of medical services. The hospital still has a lack of place to meet the great demand which is exposed to. An important part of the training of BAUFM medical students is to visit and have exposure to psychiatric and geriatric patients at Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital, which is a charitable human institution that offers medical aid.

Saida Governmental Hospital

Saida University Governmental Hospital building consists of four floors: The ground floor includes the Office of Information (Reception), Admission Office, Waiting room (Lobby), Administrative Offices, Laboratory Department, Radiology Department, Lithotripsy Department, Emergency Department, Endoscope Unit, One Day Surgery (ODS), Stress test nerves and muscles Room and EEG-EMG Room. The first floor includes the Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Dialysis Departments. The second floor comprises of the Medical, Surgical, and Intensive Care Departments, Basement includes the Operation Room Department, Delivery Department, CSSD, and Service departments (kitchen - laundry - Maintenance) in addition to warehouses and Archives and Forensic Department. The Outpatient Department (OPD) is in the old building.

Najjar Hospital

Najjar Hospital was established in October 1981. In December 2004, the final stage of expansion and renovation had finished , in order to meet the healthcare needs and services required by the patients and community.Najjar Hospital is a private hospital. The healthcare in the army was reorganized under the operation of a medical brigade on 08/23/1983. As of 01/08/1998, the medical brigade was cancelled and the Military Healthcare was established.
