The 2^nd consecutive yearly scientific day was held at the faculty of Medicine, on Friday  21/2/2014. Last year’s topic was stressing on Hypertension and its complications, whereas this year we focused on Osteoporosis and the conference was sponsored by Sanofi-Aventis

     Our day started with our student Ola Assad who talked about the bone metabolism followed by Radiological features presented by our student Sarah Fakhr Al Din and the first session was ended with an interesting speech on osteoporosis updates done by Dr.Ahmad Al Ghizawi.

      At Second Session, we continued with Dr.Anis Murad who specified the risk factors of Osteoporosis followed by Dr.Khedr Haydar who focused on particular types of osteoporosis and the final talk was given by our Student Riham Fawaz about the relation between hormones and Osteoporosis.

      At the End Dr. Sayed Soliman Attallah distributed prices to students who attended and participated in the success of our osteoporosis day.
