The Medical Student Research Competition was successfully held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, showcasing the work of five exceptional research groups who presented their projects before a distinguished jury composed of Professor Mahmoud Sakr, Professor of Surgery at Beirut Arab University; Professor Mariam Ragab, Professor of Neonatology and Pediatric Intensive Care; and Associate Professor Noura Yassine, Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics at Beirut Arab University. After a series of insightful presentations and discussions, the winning project was announced: “Communication Skills Among Medical Students in Lebanon: A Cross-Sectional Study Across Universities Adopting the European Teaching System.” The research team included Abdullah Kadhim, Julia Ftouny, Ali Kerdieh, Sarah Ghaddar, Moustafa Kamal, Hussein Haidar, Marwa Mahdi, Bashir Hijazi, and Hadi El Sayed, under the supervision of Dr. Michele Chahhoud.
