A ceremony was held at The Makassed General Hospital on the 13th of November, 2015 to celebrate the academic cooperation between Beirut Arab University and  Makassed General Hospital.
The ceremony commenced with the Lebanese National Anthem and the Makassed General Hospital anthem. This was followed by speeches given by Dr Anas Mogharbel Medical Director at Makassed General Hospital, Prof. Naglaa Mashaal Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi President of BAU, Mr. Amine Daook president of Makassed Philanthropic Association.
 The event was attended by the faculty and staff members of the faculty of medicine BAU and Makassed General Hospital. Clinical Titles were awarded by the faculty of Medicine as well as clinical professor, clinical associate professor, clinical assistant professor, and clinical lecturers.
At the End of the event, Prof. Dr. Amr Galal El Adawi and Prof. Naglaa Mashaal were honored for their continued work and efforts to improve the relationship between the university and the hospital.
