Dr. Yasser Yaghi, MD. Adjunct clinical associate professor Beirut Arab University, head of division of
orthopedic surgery in Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center (HHUMC) has been appointed Ambassador
to the Bone and Joint Decade 2010-2020.

 The bone and joint decade is an international organization endorsed by U.N since 1999 and its mission is
 to promote musculoskeletal health and musculoskeletal worldwide.

The role of an international Ambassador is to support the International coordinating council (ICC) and work
with them to achieve the vision and mission of the Bone and Joint Decade.

This means supporting activities of the bone and joint decade internationally, regionally and nationally and acting as a spokesperson.
