To Celebratate the International day for Diabetes ( 14th of November), the Lebanese Medical Student International Committee LeMSIC , performed a "Diabetes walk" on korneish Ein el Mrayse Beirut On Saturday 16th of November 2013 .
Medical students from faculties of Medicine attended and took part of the campaign, including BAU, AUB, UOB, and USJ. The Event featured a stand where people had their glucose level checked by dextrose machines as well as a tutorial on diabetes.
The students also performed a walk on the entire korneish where they test people's general knowledge on Diabetes and supply them with general guidelines on treatment and prevention.
Beirut Arab University medicine students were 37 in number from all academic years and together with fellow students from other faculties, succeeded in testing more than 350 people's sugar level.
