A lecture about diabetes mellitus was delivered by the lecturer Hala Ahmadieh. It was done basically with the intention to educate nurses who came from different hospitals all over Lebanon about diabetes mellitus, its definition, pathophysiology, its different types and clinical presentation, glucose monitoring and the different complications that may occur as a result of uncontrolled diabetes.

The Lecture took place on Saturday 31st of October 2015, at Monroe hotel, Beirut.

This event occurred with the support of the ministry of public health (MOPH), the Lebanese Endocrine Society and the Lebanese Order of Nurses.
