Prof. Essam hammad , has attended the " 7^th Taif digestive diseases and surgery conference " ,that was held in El Taif the during the period of 11-14 march 2013.

-         He had two oral presentations regarding the management of liver metastatic tumors and the outcome of resection of liver tumors in patients with liver cirrhosis .

-         Dr. Essam was a chairman in one of the sessions of the conference.

-         The conference covered many topics addressing digestive diseases, bariatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery and liver surgery with advanced techniques in endoscopy.

-         The conference agenda included 61 oral presentations and 16 posters.

-         There were invited speakers from U.S.A, U.K, Lebanon, Egypt and United Arab Emirates.

-         The chairmen were honored  by the governor of  El taif and the director of health affairs in Taif, KSA.
