Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at Beirut Arab University. She was awarded the PhD degree in pharmaceutical chemistry in 2002 from Alexandria university. She is specialized in teaching medicinal chemistry, drug design and organic chemistry courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers. She has supervised many MSc and PhD theses and conducted research in drug synthesis, discovery and development.

Drug design and synthesis particularly in the fields of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer and gastric antiulcer drugs.
