Mohammad Ayache received the Ph.D. degree in Biophysics and Image Processing (Medical Imaging specialty) from the University of Tours, France, in 2007. He previously obtained the DEA (master’s degree) in Signals and Images in Biology and Medicine (SIBM) from the University of Angers, France, in 2004, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2003 from the Islamic University of Lebanon.

He is currently an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department, Biomedical Engineering Program, at the Faculty of Engineering, Beirut Arab University. He served as a chair of the IEEE EMBS Lebanon Chapter from 2020 to 2024 and currently serves as the treasurer of the IEEE EMBS Lebanon Chapter and as accountant of the IEEE Lebanon Section.

His research interests include advanced neural network software development; advanced signal and image processing techniques; Bio - signal and Bio Image analysis and classification.
