BAU won the first place in ADIPEC2017

The Society of Petroleum Engineering – Beirut Arab University Student Chapter (SPE BAU) HAVE WON THE FIRST PLACE AT THE 2017 SPE Abou Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference in United Arab Emirates from 13-16 November 2017 during ADIPEC2017 University program.

This conference is one of the most in fluently events for the oil and gas industry in the world. Each year, it enables professionals from around the world to do business and grow , where more than 25 oil and gas countries from Asia , Africa , Europe and the MENA region capitalise on existing bi lateral trade opportunities.

SPE BAU , Represented by the students Mohamad Khoder , Hussein Shwaikani , Slayman Abdallah and Ahmad Meanna and supervised by Dr. Rami Harkouss , the chairman of the chemical and petroleum Engineering Department and the mentor Eng. Mostafa Khamis , presented their project entitled ’Digitalization in the oil and gas industry: the dawn of a new Gra’ and competed with 16 universities and won the first place for the first time in Lebanon.
