The Faculty of Health Sciences in Tripoli was established in 2010 with two programs, namely “Medical Laboratory Technology” and “Nutrition and Dietetics”. The Faculty expanded in 2016 to include the “Nursing” program, and all three programs have been accredited by the German accreditation agency AHPGS. Our facilities include well-equipped laboratories, a Simulation Nursing Lab, and a Dietetic Clinic. In addition, we host a site for the BAU Life Support Center (BAULS) which is an American Heart Association authorized training center.
We are committed to providing competent health professionals who offer the finest in health services. Student-centered and interactive teaching methodology, as well as the practice of experiential learning, define our educational philosophy and strategy. Moreover, we focus on life-long learning from the day learners enter our programs, continuing throughout their professional careers.
In parallel to its programs, the Faculty encourages a culture of community service among staff and students to play an active role in improving the quality of life of people in Lebanon. In line with this, we are keen to build creative and adaptive research teams that work across disciplines, in collaboration with research institutes in Europe and the US, to address key health-related challenges in the region.
To all those who wish to pursue a career in health sciences, we look forward to this journey with you.
