Dr. Ossama Dankar is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Power and Machines Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Beirut Arab University (BAU). He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from BAU in 2024. His academic and research activities focus on power systems, renewable energy integration, power electronics, electric vehicles, and advanced control techniques. He is actively involved in undergraduate teaching, student supervision, and scientific research, with particular emphasis on developing smart and sustainable electrical energy systems.

Power systems analysis and control; renewable energy integration; photovoltaic systems; power electronics; electric vehicle charging and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies; model predictive control (MPC); robust control and μ-synthesis; load frequency control; smart grids; energy management systems; and artificial intelligence applications in electrical power systems.
