The Faculty of Pharmacy at Beirut Arab University conducted an institutional visit to the Barbara Nassar Association for Cancer Patient Support. During this visit, faculty representatives Dr. Souraya Domiati, Associate Professor of Pharmacology and PharmD Coordinator, Dr. Rania Itani, Clinical Assistant Professor, and Dr. Rawad Hayouk, Clinical Lecturer had the privilege of meeting with the Founder, Mr. Hani Nassar, along with several dedicated staff members of the association.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to engage in constructive discussions on potential collaborations between the Faculty and the association, with the shared aim of enhancing patient support, awareness, and community engagement in the field of oncology. In addition, the faculty members were given a comprehensive tour of the association’s newly established facility, which highlighted the impactful services and initiatives being carried out to support cancer patients and their families.

This visit was a highly positive and enriching experience, reinforcing the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships with community organizations and advancing its mission of social responsibility, education, and healthcare support.
