Over 2000 pharmacists attended three presentations given by the faculty of pharmacy in the joint 22nd OPL/ 29th Arab pharmacist union congress. held on 22-24th of October, at the Hilton Grand Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon.
These presentations, aimed at advancing the role of the pharmacists in their community.  The first one covered updates on the management of Hypertension, which is one of the most prevalent diseases in the Lebanese and Arab community. The second one emphasized on the critical role of the community pharmacists in maintaining drug stability through good pharmacy practices. The third one shed the light on the importance of the pharmacists – patients communication in enhancing the quality of services provided to patients.
