Prof. Abdalla Ellakany, dean of Faculty of Pharmacy,  participated in the Fourth Health Insight conference “Pharmaceutical and Food Supplements Business Development Congress 2014”, in a round table that dealt with Food Supplements and Herbals. The dean discussed the different types of herbal products and stated the differences between food supplements and herbal medications. The chairperson of the session addressed Prof. Ellakany as the dean of half of the Lebanese Pharmacy graduates and asked him about the Faculty program and the dean retorted that the program is constructed in a way to prepare competent Pharmacists. At the end of the session the chairperson stated that the pharmacy graduates are in good hands as long as there is such a Faculty program and dean.
