The Faculty members enjoyed having dinner with each other in the presence of the president Prof. Amr Jalal Al Adawi who has been a passionate advocate with deep understanding of the BAU culture including the aspirations of its faculties, staff and students.

Prof. Abdalla El Lakany commented on the event saying: “The overall success of BAU, its reputation, enrolment and stability are all underpinned by the excellence of its academic programs, the qualifications of its academic staff, and the quality of the experience it offers to students. That was the main focus of Prof. Amr’s previous mandate and hopefully will remain for the new mandate”.

Faculty members also pointed out that over the previous years, the President’s mandate was focused on building the framework to prepare BAU for a sustainable future. Prof. Amr had always confirmed the BAU community’s common understanding of the core values underlying its mission and used those values to guide strategic, academic and campus planning and decision-making.

Moreover, the faculty members expressed their pride that the new BAU mandate was for Prof. Amr for his professional competence, leadership and significant contributions to the development of BAU.

Finally, Prof. Amr thanked all the members of the faculty of pharmacy for being a role model in their commitment and devotion to their career throughout the previous years and expected that the Faculty members would keep on the industrious work to get the CCAPP accreditation for their academic program.
