As part of the practical field training required in the courses of “Clinical Psychology” and “Counseling and Psychotherapy” taken by the graduating students at the Psychology Department, Faculty of Human Sciences, a field trip was organized to the Mental Health Department at Al Fakih Hospital. The students received hands-on training in conducting interviews with some cases at the hospital, as well as the means to diagnose and to write a psychological report. Further, the students were introduced to some therapy techniques needed in their future careers. The visit was hosted by the Director of Al Fakih Hospital and psycho-therapists there.
