Field visit to Phoenicia Hotel

Third year Nutrition & Dietetics students at BAU-Tripoli Campus had the opportunity to visit Phoenicia hotel on 28/11/2022, in the context of the “food safety and hygiene” course. The students acquired knowledge about the different food contaminants that may compromise both food safety and suitability for consumption. They also observed safe handling practices of foods which is critical for prevention of foodborne diseases.
