On the occasion of the World Diabetes Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University-Tripoli branch organized a Diabetes screening and awareness campaign in collaboration with Orange Nassau hospital and Centre Lebanon Aid NGO. The campaign aimed at screening and educating the public on the risk factors for diabtetes and the lifestyle measures that prevent and control the disease. During the campaign, a total of 110 individuals were tested for fasting blood glucose, HbA1C, and lipid profile. Vital signs were taken and educating brochures and flyers were distributed to all participants.
