The ASCE student chapter at BAU Tripoli campus boosted its Cimenterie Nationale Plant - Chekka site visit on Thursday 16 of May.
The site visit started with an introductory presentation on the different facilities at the plant and explaining how projects at the plant work and their future plans in sustainability. Then a site tour began around the plant and then in the Quarry showing their different facilities, equipment, transportation facilities.
We would like to thank Cimenterie Nationale for having us especially Engineers Rana and Emilio and special appreciation for our professors Dr. Hassan Ghanem and Dr. Mohamad el Dandachy for their efforts and for this very informative site visit and for explaining all the different concepts around that made all the visitors understand better the theoretical concepts and how it is implemented on site.
