The ASCE student chapter at Beirut Arab University participated in an impactful community service event held in the Horsh of Beirut on April 27th 2024. This initiative was organized in collaboration with ASCE Lebanon, as well as the NGOs SWIM, the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative, and Cedar for Care. The event brought together students from various universities, as well from the Evangelical School and the Red Cross. The main activities involved cleaning up the park and planting trees to help reforest the area. The ASCE students from Beirut Arab University had the special honor of planting a tree under the name of their university. This community service project allowed the participating students to bond with their peers from other institutions and societies, while making a tangible contribution to the local environment.
