The Faculty of Business Administration, Tripoli campus organized a seminar by Mr. Waref  Kumayha as the guest speaker . The seminar took place from 12:00 to 14:00 in the Ceremony Hall. All instructors and students of the Faculty of Business Administration were welcomed to attend.

The seminar started with a welcome speech by Dr. Hani Chaarani, director of the Faculty of Business Administration in Tripoli Campus. “It gives me a great pleasure to introduce Mr. Warek Kumayha, a successful individual who demonstrates an outstanding professional and academic achievements and is a BAU graduate” said Dr. Chaarani. He added that Mr. Kumayha holds many certificates, such as IACPA, CMA, LCPA, CFE, ACA, and is an active member in a number of professional organizations, such as: IFAC, ASCAI, IMA, LACPA, ACFE, AFAA, ASIP, AIPMAS, AKMS, LES-AC, LEC, and ITS.

The aim of the seminar was to guide students for building there own career path in the right way from the start by choosing relevant jobs according to their major of study, and enrolling in significant trainings or programs that would have an addtional value to their Professional profile. A stressing point as well was the importance of the undergraduate years where the student can grasp different communication & intellectual skills through the dialogue with professors, students, staff , and by successive Reading at the University Library.    

Mr. Kumayha started the lecture with a story of his youth. He graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Business Administration at Beirut Arab University. As a student, he developed  additional knowledge from the faculty library. Mr. Kumayha pursued an accounting and auditing training and was selected as a junior auditor in (TAG-Org) Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization. At the age of 18 years, he became the Executive Director of the organization. “You have to work hard to achieve your goals, no matter what constraints you might be facing” said Mr. Kumayha.

 Mr. Kumayha gave an overview of the prestigious TAG-Org which is a leading global provider of professional and educational services in 80 offices located in all major cities in the Arab world and beyond.  Further to that, Mr. Kumayha put several publications of the organisation  in the faculty library at the disposal of the faculty students. He also announced about  preparation of a number of collaboration programs with the Faculty.

At the end of the lecture, Mr. Kumayha answered many questions, and encouraged the students to set their own career goals. “Let the success story of TAG-Org inspires you to create your own” said Mr. Kumayha.
