Dr. Toufic El-Arwadi gave a talk entitled “Stability Analysis of a Shear Timoshenko Beam Under Viscoelastic Damping: Theory and Numerics” during the PDES workshop at AUB. He was invited by the organizers to give a talk at the PDEs workshop hosted by the American University of Beirut. The workshop brought together Lebanese researchers from various countries working in the field of partial differential equations. His talk focused on the stability analysis of a shear beam model under viscoelastic damping and presented several results from a recent paper co-authored with two researchers from Morocco and one from Lebanon.
