20 November 2025

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Science was proudly represented at the International Conference on Recent Advances in Mathematics and Informatics (ICRAMI’2025), a distinguished scientific event held in Hammamet, Tunisia. The conference brought together leading researchers in mathematics, applied statistics, computer science, and emerging interdisciplinary fields to share recent developments and explore new research frontiers. Dr. Noura Yassine, Associate Professor of Mathematics, attended the conference in person and presented three research papers, out of a total of four papers accepted for publication. Her participation facilitated direct engagement with scholars from around the world, fostering valuable scientific dialogue and potential collaborations. Dr. Lama Affara, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, participated virtually and delivered an online presentation of a joint paper co-authored with Dr. Yassine. The accepted papers reflect contributions in mathematics and applied statistics, highlighting the university’s active role in advancing research in these areas. The event provided an inspiring and enriching scientific atmosphere, offering opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking, and feedback from experts in the field. The papers are accepted to be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, enhancing the visibility and impact of the university’s scholarly output.
