BAU Computer science students participated in the Lebanese Collegiate Programming Competition 2023 (LCPC 15) which was held this year on September 8th & 9th, 2023 at American University of Beirut (AUB). Organized since 2009, this competition aims to raise students' competence in programming and problem solving, as well as to attract companies seeking to employ competitors in the field of Programming. Fifty-nine teams from twelve Lebanese universities competed for two days.
Although our current teams were newcomers to the competition, they performed impressively, securing the 14th position among all participating teams. Furthermore, we are proud to announce that Beirut Arab University (BAU) ranked fourth among all participating universities, coming in behind only LU, AUB, and LAU.
This competition showed the immense potential and dedication of our students in the realm of competitive programming. We are confident that our participation in next year's LCPC will yield even greater success. The Computer Science department remains committed to fostering our students' programming skills and nurturing their competitive spirit, ensuring a promising future in this field.
