Math Competition for Schools in Lebanon (MCSL 2026)
07 February 2026The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science at Beirut Arab University, proudly organized the Math Competition for Schools in Lebanon (MCSL 2026) on February 7, 2026, at the Debbieh campus.
This national academic competition is designed to encourage mathematical thinking, strengthen problem-solving and teamwork skills, and inspire students to appreciate the beauty and depth of mathematics beyond the classroom. Competing in teams of three, students tackled challenging problems in Calculus, Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, and Geometry.
MCSL 2026 brought together 43 schools, 63 teams (with some schools represented by two teams), 189 students, and the support of 51 coordinators, creating a day full of challenge, collaboration, and enthusiasm for mathematics among high school students from across Lebanon.
