A Google Devathon event was hosted at Balamand University on Saturday, November 25, 2023, for students who are members of the GDSC club in Lebanon. The Devathon is a competitive programming competition, gearing up GDSC chapters across Lebanon for the Google Solution Challenge! It's not just about coding; it's about fostering teamwork, problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation.
Thirty teams from different universities across Lebanon participated in the event including AUB, LAU, USJ, Lebanese University, NDU, LIU, Islamic University, RHU, and Balamand University. Two teams formed of computer science students from Beirut and Tripoli campuses participated in the competition.
THE KALMCODERS team from Beirut formed of Mohammad Karim Abo Hosa, Ali Sarawan, Layal Shakhashiro, and Moustafa Jarjour achieved the 3rd place out of all the teams participating.
