Students from the Faculty of Health Sciences visited Lebanon’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) to gain insights into the country’s coordinated response to health crisis. They explored how communication systems, rapid data analysis, and intersectoral collaboration guide national decision-making during outbreaks and emergencies. Engaging directly with experts from the Ministry of Public Health, students deepened their understanding of preparedness and response to emergencies, bridging theoretical learning with practical public health operations. This educational experience inspired them to contribute actively to Lebanon’s evolving health security system
