The Quality Assurance Committee

The Quality Assurance (QA) Committee was established during the academic year 2009/2010 to ensure the implementation of quality assurance policies, organizational standards, and performance indicators, as well as to support academic programs in preparing self-study reports and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The Faculty of Health Sciences has achieved significant milestones in academic accreditation. In 2016, the Bachelor of Physical Therapy program received accreditation from World Physiotherapy (WPT), England, becoming the first internationally accredited Physical Therapy program in Lebanon. Following successful renewal processes, the program's accreditation has been extended and is currently valid until 2031.

In addition, in 2017, the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS), Germany granted accreditation to the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology, and Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics programs at both the Beirut Campus and Tripoli Branch. Following a successful reaccreditation process, these programs have maintained their accredited status through 2029.

These achievements reflect the faculty’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards, ensuring program excellence, and aligning its educational offerings with international quality benchmarks.
