The Quality Assurance Committee

The Quality Assurance (QA) Committee was established during the academic year 2009–2010 to oversee the implementation of quality assurance policies, institutional standards, and performance indicators. The Committee also supports academic programs in preparing self-study reports and promotes a culture of continuous assessment and improvement across the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Academic Accreditation and Quality Excellence

The Faculty of Health Sciences has achieved significant milestones in academic accreditation, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and compliance with international quality standards.

In 2016, the Bachelor of Physical Therapy program received accreditation from World Physiotherapy (WPT), England, becoming the first internationally accredited Physical Therapy program in Lebanon. Following successful renewal processes, the program's accreditation has been extended and remains valid until 2031.

In 2017, the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS), Germany, granted accreditation to the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology, and Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics programs at both the Beirut Campus and the Tripoli Branch. Following successful reaccreditation, these programs have maintained their accredited status through 2029.

These achievements demonstrate the Faculty's ongoing commitment to maintaining high academic standards, enhancing educational quality, and aligning its academic programs with internationally recognized benchmarks. Through continuous evaluation and improvement, the Quality Assurance Committee supports the Faculty's mission to deliver high-quality education and prepare competent healthcare professionals.
