Dr. Tassi is a professional lecturer, facilitator, skilled trainer, and education consultant with more than 15 years’ experience in developing and providing adult education and training for health care professionals. Licensed member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (UK) Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (KSA) and the Lebanese Order of Nurses (LEB)

As an active member of the American Heart Association (AHA) for more than 10 years, worked as an AHA courses provider/ instructor, a facilitator, and an AHA site coordinator. He trained and facilitated 100s of Basic and advanced Cardiac Life Support classes and coordinated many classes over the years.

Dr Ahmad Tassi act currently as a director of the BAU Life Support International Training Center.

Mirna Fawaz

Mirna Fawaz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences. She earned her PhD in Nursing in 2016 from the University of Jordan and has obtained her Master’s degree in Medical Surgical Nursing from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon in 2011 and Bachelor Sciences in Nursing from Lebanese university, Faculty of Public Health in 2003. Her area of focus in research is simulation and medical education.

Mayada Bou Mehdi

Mrs. Mayada is a life support training center Faculty (BAULS ). Mayada is an American Heart Association Territory Faculty –MENA region, involved in establishing of many AHA centers in the region and in training of numerous instructors. She has been an AHA instructor since 2010, served as Training Center Coordinator at King Saud University Reference Center – Saudi Arabia from 2010 -2017. Prior joining King Saud university, she was an educator at Saad Training Institute –Khobar –KSA.

Mayada is an instructor and coordinator in Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Advanced Trauma course ; she received her bachelor of nursing from the Lebanese University.

Joined BAU in 2021 with a nursing background, he is an in-charge Nurse at Clemenceau Medical Center, Anesthesia department (CMC). Was assigned by the UN committee as an epidemiological surveillance investigator, covid_19 file (2020).

30 AHA instructors are aligned to the BAULS AHA instructor network with different specialities as a cardiologist, neonatologist, pediatrician , ER physician and nurse specialist.
