The Beirut Arab University Life Support Center (BAULS) authorized by the American Heart Association (AHA) has a commitment towards the Lebanese community, and aims at spreading Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) harm-reduction knowledge and skills; the “Hands-only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) awareness campaign” is a skill building initiative that teaches individuals how to take action during emergencies.

The BAULS collaborated with the Director of Rafic El Hariri International Airport Mr. Fadi El Hassan; to hold a 2 day “Hands-Only CPR awareness campaign” on the 10th and 20th of March 2019, Which was in accordance with the “American Heart Association Heart Saver Month” for the MENA region.

AHA certified instructors joined to train about 200 individuals including Duty Free staff, Airport employees and travelers; across all age groups and from different regions. Participants received CPR instructions and gift packages.
