The academic advisor provides guidance and support throughout the student’s academic journey, helping students plan their studies, monitor their progress, and meet their program and graduation requirements.

• Provide information on academic regulations, policies, and program requirements.
• Assist with academic planning and course selection.
• Monitor academic progress and provide guidance when challenges arise.
• Support students in meeting degree and graduation requirements.
• Direct students to relevant University resources and support services when needed.

Academic advising is a shared responsibility between the student and the academic advisor. Students are expected to take an active role in planning and managing their academic progress by:

• Understanding University policies, procedures, and degree requirements.
• Preparing for advising sessions and discussing their academic and professional goals.
