It is with great pleasure that we announce that the Sustainability Day 2025 was successfully concluded. Gratitude is extended to everyone whose participation made this event unforgettable. The encouragement and support shown towards Sustainability and Environmental Conservation were truly inspiring.
Highlights included Dr. Mona's talk on SDGs for Design, Post Graduate student presentations on Application of SDGs in Projects and Recent Simulation Tools learned in the Advanced Sustainability Course, Dr. Samer's presentation on "Sustainability When Choice is No More an Option," and Mr. Mohammad Al Hariri inspiring talk "The Blue Economy: System Boundaries and Lebanon's Agenda". Plus, the invaluable experiences shared by undergraduate students involved Hariri Foundation’s recent participatory projects on Sustainability were truly insightful.
Prof. Hassan Abdel-Salam concluded the day by thanking all participants for their contributions and Dr. Mona for their efforts in spreading awareness, encouraging participation, and sharing knowledge. He expressed special gratitude to the Hariri Foundation for their valuable collaboration and expressed hope for future partnerships. Prof. Abdel-Salam also assured the significant potentials in achieving sustainability and stressed the shared responsibility to push boundaries and innovate in order to meet contemporary challenges.
The momentum will be continued, with every day being seen as a step towards a more sustainable world.
