Students at BAU, the Faculty of Architecture Design & Built Environment, continue to actively participate in various international workshops, and winter and summer schools while being continuously encouraged and supported by the Dean Prof. Ibtihal Y. El-Bastawissi.
This time, a group of 13 students from the Faculty, supervised by academic staff Dr Nael Sarrag, are currently participating in the Algorithm Rome Summer School from 31st July to 7th August 2023. The event collaborates with the Academy of Art and New Technology (AANT) in Rome.
The Summer school topic, "Responsive Parametric Design" opens to students from different countries.
Algorithm Rome Sumer School at The Academy of Art and New Technology has an advanced computational approach that enables urban designers, landscapers, researchers and architects to optimize their design interventions on an urban scale to enhance the urban performance supported by the interaction with humans and the environment.
