The Faculty of Architecture – Design and Built Environment is proud to announce that a group of 14 students from the faculty under the supervisor of Dr. Osama Omar are participating in the summer school “Net Zero Carbon: Architecture and Landscape for Climate Emergency (ALCE) from 17-31 July 2022. This summer workshop is organized by Kingston-school of Art in London targeting students from schools of architecture, landscape, and closely related courses in the built environment.
The summer school includes field trips and visits to some of the best UK cities including London as well as the students had the chance to visit Zaha Hadid’s Office and see the latest projects office has completed. this visit was a privilege for them to actually visit one of the pioneering and influential architectural firms in the world.
Participation in such International Summer School offer a unique cultural experience and deliver a combination of inspiring lectures, project work and workshops.
