Maria Reslan received her Bachelor degree in dental surgery in 2000 from Beirut Arab University. She obtained her Master degree in fixed and removable prosthodontics in 2007 and her PhD in prosthodontics in 2015 from the same university. She served as a clinical instructor in fixed and removable prosthodontics clinics at Beirut Arab University from 2000 to 2025. Maria Reslan is currently an Assistant Professor of prosthodontics at Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral Rehabilitation Sciences. She worked at Beirut Implant Dentistry Center from 2004 till 2014. Since 2014, she runs her own private clinic as aprosthodontist and general practitioner with clinical experience since 2000.

During her academic career as a part timer and later as a full timer, she teached fixed and removable prosthodontics . She shared clinical experience with students. Her aim was always to educate students to become proficient in the discipline of Prosthodontics, and encouraging them to become self learners and critical thinkers by using different teaching methods like Clinical Case group studies, Problem solving and interactive learning.
