Biography

I have been a member of the Faculty of Business Administration at Beirut Arab University since 2016 and currently hold the position of Assistant Professor of Banking and Finance. My academic work includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, advising students, and supervising research projects. Before joining BAU, I gained seven years of professional experience at BLOM Bank. This background has shaped my approach to teaching, helping me bring practical banking experience into the classroom and connect academic concepts with real-world financial practices.

Research Interests

My research interests lie mainly in banking and finance, particularly bank performance, financial risk management, capital structure, and financial decision-making. I am also interested in financial technology, digital banking, and the use of artificial intelligence in financial services. I enjoy exploring how developments in finance and technology influence the decisions of individuals, businesses, and financial institutions.

Education & Qualifications

I earned my PhD in Business Administration from Beirut Arab University in 2022. I also hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Lebanese American University, completed in 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the same university, completed in 2006, where I graduated with Distinction.

Teaching Areas

My teaching experience spans several areas of business education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My main areas of specialization include banking, financial management, investments and portfolio management, financial risk management, and Islamic banking. I have also taught courses in management, management information systems, business communication, entrepreneurship, and e-business, as well as supervised student research projects and internships.

I graduated with Distinction from the Lebanese American University in 2006 and was recognized on the University's Distinguished List and Honor List during my undergraduate studies.
