Dr. Maya Houri is an academic and HR leader with a PhD in Business Administration (Beirut Arab University, 2025), an MBA (LAU), and a BA (AUB). A lecturer at Beirut Arab University, she teaches Entrepreneurship, E-Business, Business Communications, International Business, Work-Ready-Now (USAID), and Senior Project. Her research focuses on socially responsible HRM. She previously served 17 years as HR Unit Head at Solidere, managed admin and ISO quality at Sukleen, and held key roles at Schneider Electric and Middle East Airlines. Trilingual in Arabic, English, and French, she brings over two decades of cross-industry expertise.

Dr. Houri’s research and expertise span management, socially responsible HRM, comparative healthcare workplace studies, and organizational dynamics. Her empirical work evaluates public versus private sectors to bridge management theories with real-world scenarios.
