On 20th May, 2020, Mr Ali Shams was awarded the Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA) by the Faculty of Business Administration at Beirut Arab University, on successful presentation of his final thesis entitled “Corporate Governance Disclosure and Its Influence on Banks’ Performances in MENA”.
The Defense Examination Committee consisted of his supervisor Prof Hicham Daher (Assistant Professor of Finance at IÉSEG School of Management,Lille – Paris, France), Prof Nehale Mostafa (Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Beirut Arab University), Dr. Abdallah Nassereddine (Associate Prof of Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration at Beirut Arab University), Prof. Pierre Khoury (Vice President for Development at the Lebanese German University) and Prof. Ralph Nehme (Economic Attaché, Embassy of Lebanon in the United Kingdom).
