A shallow water modeling with the Coriolis effect coupled with the surface tension.
Abstract
In this paper, we study fluid dynamics taking into account two effects governing fluid’s motion, an external one caused by Earth’s rotation: Coriolis effect, besides an internal effect, caused by the interaction between fluid’s molecules: the surface tension. So a new physical frame is considered here. At first, we will derive formally a new model of equations describing the motion in Camassa–Holm regime. Furthermore, large-time local well-posedness of the main model will be investigated in H^s(R^n) for s>3/2.
