• In 2018, BAU subscribed to “Advance HE - Access Partner Package”, aiming at enhancing the quality and prominence of teaching and learning activities that includes key teaching modules on teaching and learning skills (covering key topics on teaching and learning; innovative pedagogy; and technology enhanced learning). “Advance HE”-UK, is an agency focused on supporting the educational sectors desire to improve its own practice; offers training of teachers in all basic areas of teaching and learning. In addition, it provides auditing focused on key areas of interest to higher education institutions around the world, such as recruitment, evaluation, teaching and learning process, and the quality of academic staff performance.

• Aiming at assessing the quality of teaching and learning, BAU asked “Advance HE” to carry out a “Teaching & Learning Audit” visit on 3rd-5th December 2018 at BAU after capturing information through a survey distributed to all BAU Faculties’ teaching staff, and senior leaders with a role in T&L. During the visit, the Advance HE panel met with staff and students. The surveys’ and the visit’s results is concluded in an “Assessment Report” issued by the Advance HE.
