BAU, represented by the President, Secretary General, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, and Dean of the Quality Assurance Center, participated in The Advance HE 2018 conference that hosted over 300 sessions and welcomed over 650 delegates. The Conference was held from 3 to 5 July 2018 in Birmingham, England.

The conference put a strong emphasis on teaching in a global setting, with a focus on how we can learn from other communities across the world to provide the best possible education for all students and to continue professionalizing and developing the HE teaching community.

Following the conference, with the intention of working with HEA, they visited the University of York. HEA offers a subscription service for universities, which allows BAU to use HEA partner logo on BAU materials, gives access to HEA online communities of practice, gives free or discounted access to online webinars and reading groups, and discounted access to HEA events.
