Beirut Arab University has been among the top 3 finalists - selected from 139 applications submitted by institutions across 34 countries- in the Outstanding Contribution to the Community Award category for the 4th Cycle of the Zairi International Awards for Excellence in Higher Education. A key highlight of the award ceremony, which was held in Dubai on 1st of October, was the thought-provoking panel discussion titled: "Universities as Architects of Global Good: Rethinking Higher Education's Purpose and Impact," where Professor Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, President of Beirut Arab University, emphasized BAU’s resilience in addressing societal challenges, driving innovation and creating positive impact within the community and beyond.
