Capacity building workshop on Mediation: a tool for effective learning

In alignment with BAU's strategy to support the professional development of academic staff, the Quality Assurance Center (QAC) organized a two-day workshop titled “Capacity Building in Mediation: A Tool for Effective Learning” on August 27th and 28th, 2025, in collaboration with L’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the Centre Professionnel de Médiation (CPM) at Université Saint-Joseph (USJ).

Academic staff members from various faculties participated in the workshop. Through different activities and real-life examples, participants learned how to handle conflicts better in both school and everyday situations by encouraging open conversations, enhancing listening skills, finding shared interests, and looking for solutions that work for everyone.
