Dr. Bilal Azakir, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine- Beirut Arab University, has been selected by the UNESCO and received an award to partner in organizing a series of webinars and online meetings (July- October 2020) on Ethics of Science and Technology to engage youth, research and policy communities in the global conversations and to come up with recommendations in the Arab region regarding Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, Research ethics and Ethics in the time of climate change. More than 250 experts, academics, young researchers and students had participated in these webinars from the Arab region.
